Tenth World Ayurvedic Conference to be held in Doon

Dehradun, 24 Nov: The 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo will be organised by Vishwa Ayurveda Foundation, Vigyan Bharti and Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and the Uttarakhand State Government. It is going to be held in Dehradun during 12-15 December. For the successful organisation of this international conference, a meeting was held at Bijapur Guest House with the coordinators and members of various committees constituted by Uttarakhand Vigyan Bharti.

Chairing the meeting, National Organisation Secretary of Vigyan Bharti, Shiv Kumar said, “We  all should think how the tenth international conference can be a grand success and excellent in terms of quality and seamless flow of events in comparison to the nine international conferences held so far, and all the members of the committees constituted for it should discharge their responsibilities with clarity and full dedication.” He said that committees have been formed at many levels for this event, but all those committees should keep meeting as per the need to work in mutual coordination and better synergy, because more than five thousand participants are going to participate in this conference in which representatives from more than 50 countries are expected to arrive. He said that a lot will be learned from this event of global level intellectual churning and organising the World Ayurvedic Conference for the first time in Uttarakhand will definitely play an important role in the direction of promoting study and research in the field of Ayurvedic science and this will give impetus to the promotion of Ayurvedic science at the global level.

Addressing the meeting, National Co-organising Secretary of Vigyan Bharti, Praveen Ramdas said that every member of every organising committee will have to demonstrate his or her ability keeping in mind the time limit because representatives not only from the country but also from various countries of the world are coming to participate. Through this conference, every participant will also be introduced to art and culture and from this point of view, it is the responsibility to work in coordination towards providing hospitality to every guest with full dedication.

Dr Shishir Kumar, Dr Sunil Kumar and Dr Chandrashekhar gave a presentation through power point slides about the World Ayurvedic Conferences held from 2002 to 2022 and said that this time the event is going to be held at the Parade Ground, here, where arrangements are being made to present research papers for more than a thousand participants, along with organising invited lectures by hundreds of experts and preparing for an exhibition of various items based on Ayurveda.

On this occasion Professor KD Purohit, President of Uttarakhand Vigyan Bharti, Prof Hemwati Nandan, Secretary, VIBHA, Professor Radhavallabh Sati of Uttarakhand Ayurvedic University, Professor Anita Rawat Director USERC, Professor H C Purohit, Dr RP Nautiyal, Professor Dhruv Kumar, Dr Deependra Tripathi, Dr Ekta Tripathi, Professor Sudhir Sharma Mundepi, Dr Sunita Vidyarthi, Dr Jyoti, Dr Girish, Dr Lokesh Joshi, Dr Vinod Rawat and members of various committees formed for organising the conference were present.
