NHO holds exhibition for school students as part of Navy Day celebrations

Dehradun, 2 Dec: Navy Day, observed annually, marks the Indian Navy’s remarkable success during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, particularly the decisive attack on Karachi. To honour this historic achievement, the Indian Navy organises a series of activities and events as part of Navy week celebrations.

As a part of the ongoing Navy Week 2024 celebrations, the National Hydrographic Office (NHO), here, organised a visit for school children and an exhibition on the Indian Navy and the Hydrographic Department, here, today. Students from numerous schools of Dehradun visited the office.

The highlight of the day was an inspiring talk by Brigadier G Sesodia (Retd), who motivated the students to pursue a career in the Indian Armed Forces.
