Dehradun, 7 Dec: The local residents and public representatives have expressed happiness over Union Cabinet’s approval for a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) to be established in Narendra Nagar. This is one of the four Central Schools to have been approved by the Union Government for Uttarakhand and would be established  in the area under the Civil and Defence sectors. They have expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal for this development.
Meanwhile, Subodh Uniyal also expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and the Government of India for approving the KV in Narendra Nagar. He stated that the KV would provide excellent education facilities, building a strong future for the children.
Outgoing president of Nagar Palika Narendra Nagar, Rajendra Vikram Singh Panwar, remarked that the country is rapidly making progress in all aspects under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Narendra Nagar Assembly is progressing under the leadership of Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal. Panwar thanked Subodh Uniyal for ensuring the approval for the KV in Narendra Nagar, noting that KVs are primarily established to meet the educational needs of children of transferable and non-transferable Central government employees, including Defence and paramilitary forces, as well as temporary populations and residents of remote areas.
Block Pramukh Rajendra Bhandari also said that approval has been granted to open 85 new KVs across the country, and securing one for Narendra Nagar is a significant achievement. He emphasised that the demand for KV schools is high due to their quality education, new teaching methods, and updated infrastructure. The outgoing municipal chairman also expressed his gratitude to Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal for this accomplishment.
