Workshop held on Startups in Pharmacy Sector at GEHU

Dehradun, 6 Mar: Medicinal bandages can also be made from castor leaves. Participants gave many such new ideas at a workshop organised on pharmacy related startups at Graphic Era Hill University, here, today.

On the occasion of National Pharmacy Day, this workshop on Entrepreneurship and Startup in Pharma and Pharmacy Practice was organised at Graphic Era Hill University. In the workshop, students put forward innovative ideas for new startups in the pharmacy sector. These ideas of students include developing medicinal bandages made of castor leaves, converting medicinal waste into decorative items, mosquito repellent cakes, artificial intelligence in virtual medicine consultation, etc.

At the workshop, Deepak Juneja, Director, United Bioceuticals (Haridwar), told the students that it is necessary to identify the right goal to become a good entrepreneur. He told the students that many difficulties come in the life of an entrepreneur, but it is very important to believe in oneself so that problems can be dealt with. Dr Ashish Joshi, Founder and Director, Skin DX Bioceuticals, New Delhi, and Vishal Garg, Co-Founder, Ghad Naturals, Dehradun, briefed the students on various topics related to the pharmacy field. Certificates were also distributed to the students who gave good ideas. The workshop was organised by the School of Pharmacy.
