Registration camps for UCC Portal to be held at Nyaya Panchayat level in Doon

Dehradun, 22 April: Camps will be organised in every Nyaya Panchayat of Dehradun to facilitate registration of marriages and other matters under the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). On the instructions of Chief Development Officer (CDO), Dehradun Abhinav Shah, the District Panchayat Raj Officer has released the schedule for these camps, ensuring local-level accessibility for citizens to register their marriages, divorces, and other relevant documentation. He has appealed to residents to participate in large numbers and register under UCC.

For development block Chakrata, registration camps will be held in Nyaya Panchayat Bunad Bastil on 28 April, Bhunad on 29 April, Kandoi Bondar on 30 April, Mindal on 26 April, Dimich Bhandroli on 3 May, Dasau on 25 April, Begi on 2 May, Jadi on 22 April, and Rangeu on 1 May.

The District Panchayat Raj Officer further shared that development block Kalsi has nine Nyaya Panchayats, where registration camps will be conducted in Dagura on 21 April, Koruwa on 23 April, Naraya on 26 April, Bhanjra on 25 April, Koti on 30 April, Kalsi on 1 May, Udpalta on 5 May, Khadi on 7 May, and Mundhan on 8 May at Ramlila Ground.

For development block Vikasnagar, camps will be held in Dharmawala on 21 April, Sorna on 23 April, Enfield on 26 April, Sabhawala on 28 April, and Laghan on 30 April.

In development block Sahaspur, registration camps will be organised in Bhagwantpur on 22 April, Arcadia Grant on 23 April, Amwala on 28 April, Rampur Bhauwala on 30 April, Jhajra on 2 May, and Sahaspur on 5 May.

Under development block Doiwala, camps will be held in Ranipokhari Grant on 21 April, Majri Grant on 22 April, Markham Grant on 23 April, and Shyampur on 25 April.

For development block Raipur, registration camps will be organised in Raipur on 25 April, Sarona on 28 April, and various police stations on 30 April. Authorities have claimed that these efforts will streamline the registration process and make it more accessible to citizens across the district.
