Dehradun, 22 Jul: BJP State President and Rajya Sabha Member Mahendra Bhatt today called upon the party office-bearers and workers to step up organisational efforts to secure victories for party-supported candidates in the Zila Panchayat elections, even amidst challenging monsoon conditions. Through a message disseminated across social media and various platforms, Bhatt underlined the need for all party functionaries and active members to contribute decisively to ensure high voter turnout and the election of party-backed candidates across Panchayat Wards, Pradhan positions, and Kshetra Panchayats.
Acknowledging the potential disruptions due to prevailing weather, Bhatt emphasised on the importance of prioritising voter convenience and safety alongside that of the workers themselves. He further called for collective commitment and resourcefulness in overcoming climatic obstacles on polling day. While addressing concerns linked to possible rain during the polling tomorrow and on 28 July, he claimed a visible enthusiasm among the rural electorate during the campaign period, considering it an encouraging indicator for the party’s prospects. He claimed that a considerable number of villagers are keen on aligning their local governance with BJP’s development model, commonly referred to as the “Triple Engine” approach. Bhatt appealed to the party workers to translate this grassroots aspiration into tangible electoral success by leveraging the party’s organisational machinery to its full potential.
