Dehradun, 16 Aug: On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, a stirring band display was organised for civilians, all ranks, and families at the Shaurya Sthal, here, under the aegis of HQ Uttarakhand Sub Area.
The brass band from the Bengal Engineering Group & Centre and Pipe Band of Golden Key Division heightened the spirit of patriotism by performing powerful martial tunes—aptly suited to the occasion and serving as a befitting tribute to the brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
The event was witnessed by over 200 civil and military attendees along with NCC & RIMC cadets, who stood united in reverence and respect.
As the event drew to a close, the audience was deeply moved—imbued with a profound sense of nationalism, pride, and gratitude for the valour and sacrifice of the fallen heroes.
