Dehradun, 14 Sep: MLAs Sahdev Pundir, Khajan Das, Suresh Chauhan, Bharat Chaudhary, Sanjay Dobal, Anil Nautiyal, Pritam Panwar, and other public representatives paid courtesy calls on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his official residence, here, today.

During the meeting, the public representatives apprised the Chief Minister of various development-related demands and local issues from their respective constituencies. The Chief Minister assured them that he would issue necessary directions to the departments concerned for the prompt resolution of all demands.

The Chief Minister stated that the government’s goal is to provide citizens with quick and transparent services. He emphasised that, with the active participation of public representatives, problem-solving and development works would become more effective.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister urged the MLAs to personally visit areas recently affected by natural disasters in the state and to help ensure timely assistance reaches the affected families. He reiterated that the government would provide every possible support to all disaster-affected families and expedite relief and rehabilitation efforts.

The Chief Minister added that the government is continuously working to strengthen the state’s basic infrastructure such as road connectivity, healthcare facilities, education, tourism, drinking water, and energy. He said that Uttarakhand’s balanced and holistic development is possible only when public representatives closely convey people’s expectations to the government and ensure collective participation in the state’s progress.
