DEHRADUN, 22 Sept: Today on the occasion when the Modi government has slashed the GST rates on many goods & services Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the market of Prem Nagar and met the business owners there.
Dhami asked about the changes in the prices of different goods & services from the business owners.
The Chief Minister visited Hotel Magnet House and met the owner Deepak Bhatia who informed the CM about the benign of GST on the Hotel Industry, where in GST rates on the rooms tariff upto 7499/- per night has been reduced from 12% to 5% , which would definitely give a boost to the tourism industry of Uttarakhand.
Dhami asked the shopkeepers to make sure that benefits is transferred to the end consumers after the reductions in GST rates. CM Dhami was accompanied by the MLA from Dehradun Cantt Savita Kapoor and BJP District president Sidharth Agarwal.
