Dehradun, 25 Sept: In the capital city, traffic rules were broken openly during the day. From Clock tower to Parade Ground, hundreds of youths riding bikes and cars created chaos on the roads.
People saw many bikers riding without helmets, driving at high speed, and doing stunts in the middle of the road. Loud music was also played in several cars. The sudden bike rally created panic among pedestrians and other vehicle drivers.
Eyewitnesses said that the reckless driving could have caused accidents. Local people have demanded that police increase patrolling and strict checking in Clock tower and Parade Ground areas. They said this will help stop such incidents in the future.
