Dhami reaffirms commitment to youth empowerment

ABVP College Election winners call on CM

Dehradun, 30 Sep: Winners of Student Elections related to the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) called on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his official residence here today. The CM interacted with the winning candidates from various colleges affiliated with the ABVP in Dehradun district and extended his congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected student representatives.

On the occasion, Dhami observed that the youth constitute the true strength of, both, the nation and the state, and their active involvement is essential for ushering in constructive societal transformation.

During the meeting, the victorious ABVP candidates apprised the CM of their forthcoming initiatives and the work they plan to undertake for the welfare of the student community. In response, Dhami assured them of his full support and guidance and reiterated that the state government is committed to making every possible effort to ensure the holistic development and promising future of the youth.

Dhami also stated that this victory is a triumph of nationalism and the Sanatan culture in Devbhoomi, and that the state government will fully assist in effectively implementing the New Education Policy (NEP) to improve student facilities in their colleges.

It may be recalled that the ABVP has won a total of 332 posts in Uttarakhand, including the post of Student Union President in 58 colleges.
