MUSSOORIE, 11 Oct: The much-awaited ICREAS – Students’ Creative Expo 2025 was organized by Imageminds, the School’s Creative Lab team at St George’s College, in collaboration with the students, on Saturday. This year’s theme celebrated Uttarakhand’s heritage — highlighting the state’s rich tapestry of history, spirituality and natural beauty.
The exhibits showcased an impressive spectrum of creativity and innovation, including art and craft design, fashion, photography, videography, filmmaking, 3D modeling, robotics and AI, web and mobile app development, AR/VR experiences, 3-D game design, board game design and UI/UX design. Each project reflected countless hours of imagination, hard work and skill, transforming ideas into inspiring realities.
The chief guest for the occasion was Professor Jagmohan Singh Rana, former Member and Chairman, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and former Director, Uttarakhand State Biotechnology Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The guest of honour was Professor Anita Rawat, former Director, Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC).
The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by Rev. Brother Britto (Superior), Brother Jeyaseelan S (Principal) and Brother Felix Kumar (Vice-principal). Imageminds Senior Subject Matter Expert, Vasanthan A, presented mementos and tokens of appreciation to the guests and the Brothers.
The programme commenced with a prayer led by Reyansh Goyal, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Brothers and guests. The event logo, ICREAS ’25, was then unveiled, after which the chief guest formally declared the Expo open.
The audience was treated to a series of autobiographical, documentary, storytelling, knowledge-sharing and stop-motion videos presented by students of the Junior School. Additionally, thought-provoking videos on World Happiness Day, World Forgiveness Day and Independence Day were showcased, reflecting the students’ awareness of global and social themes.
The chief guest felicitated the winners with trophies and certificates, commending their creativity and dedication. The following students were honoured for their outstanding contributions: Hridhaan, Shivanya Mehar (Class 4); Saatvik Chhokra, Sarthak Semalti (Class 5); Sehejpreet Singh Thakral, Samarth Bajaj (Class 6); Dhiman Khatana, Zayden Armstrong Miranda (Class 7); Heet Agrawal, Devansh Taparia, Hridey Garg, Raghav Singh Thakur (Class 8); Zaid, Anagh Mandhyan (Class 9); Snehil Rai, Anay Garg (Class 10); Abhinandan Singla, Jayant Jain, Adhyan Taparia, Dhairya Dilip Varshney (Class 11); Manvendrasinh Rushirajsinh Gohil, Rishit Bisht, Felix Siby Kurian and Aryan Khatri (Class 12).
A major highlight of the day was the staff and student Ramp Walk, with costumes designed by Saksham Singhal (Class 11) under the guidance of the Imageminds faculty.
Following the group photographs, both the Chief Guest and the Principal addressed the gathering. They lauded the creativity on display, emphasizing that such initiatives nurture innovative thinking, teamwork and collaboration. The chief guest also praised Uttarakhand—the Land of gods and goddesses—and expressed his admiration for St George’s College, calling it an institution that has created milestones and contributed immensely to social transformation. He extended his gratitude to the Patrician Brothers for their enduring commitment to the universal mission of peace and education.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Imageminds faculty member Saroj Mandal, after which the gathering explored the vibrant array of student exhibits displayed in the auditorium.
