CM approves projects worth Rs 46.18 crores for sewerage and nursing college

Dehradun, 16 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved four projects related to sewerage management, costing Rs 43.68 crores, along with sanctioning the release of Rs 2.50 crores for the construction of a Nursing College in Rudrapur.

The sewerage projects approved by the CM under the Pyejal Nigam (Drinking Water Department) include the Sewage System project in Bhagat Singh Colony, Haripurkalan, Haridwar (cost Rs 11.22 crores), the Sewerage project from Durga City Chowk, Nawabi Road to Kaladhungi Road in Nainital district (cost Rs 9.49 crores), the work of laying sewer lines in Pathariyapir, Neelkanth Vihar, Indira Colony, and Chukkuwala areas of Dehradun city (cost Rs 13.91 crores), and the Sewerage project for the left-out area of Zone-C of Saket Nagar Colony, Canal Road, under the Dehradun Drainage Scheme (cost Rs 9.06 crores).

In addition, the CM Dhami has also approved the release of Rs 2.50 crores for the construction of the Academic Block and site development of the Nursing College within the premises of the under-construction Medical College in Rudrapur, Udham Singh Nagar district.
