Dehradun, 23 Dec: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strengthened its organisational outreach in Uttarakhand by constituting a comprehensive state-level coordination structure to ensure the effective implementation of its ‘Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar’ campaign. Under directions of State President Mahendra Bhatt and the supervision of State General Secretary Kundan Parihar, the party has appointed coordinators at the assembly and mandal levels with the objective of taking government welfare schemes directly to citizens and addressing their grievances in a time-bound manner.
BJP’s State Media In-charge Manveer Chauhan shared that the campaign is already underway across the state and is aimed at ensuring that the benefits of Central and State government schemes reached every eligible citizen. To enhance its impact, an organisational framework has been created from the state level downwards, to enable better coordination and monitoring. The Party’s general secretary, Kundan Parihar, has been designated as the State Convenor for the campaign. He would be assisted by Rajkumar Purohit, Sitaram Bhatt, Shyam Dobhal, Rajendra Rawat and Bhuvan Joshi as co-convenors.
At the assembly level, coordinators have been appointed across constituencies in Garhwal and Kumaon, including key seats in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Almora, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar. In addition, as many as 304 mandal coordinators have been entrusted with responsibilities to accelerate the campaign at the grassroots.
Kundan Parihar said the coordinators would work closely with the campaign officials to inform the people about outreach camps, assist them in completing preliminary formalities and ensure that no eligible beneficiary was left out. He added that MPs, MLAs, elected representatives, party office-bearers and workers would collectively work to realise the spirit of a government accessible to every citizen.
