Dehradun, 30 Dec: A book, ‘Samvardhan: A Roadmap for Development of Uttarakhand Vision 2025’, edited by Dr Avinash Chandra Joshi in association with Pro. Surekha Dangwal and Dr Gazala Khan from Doon University, was released today by Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) during the 6th Convocation of the University.
The book primarily focuses on key areas of concern responsible for economic growth of Uttarakhand during the past 25 years. It includes Public Policy and Governance, human resource management, Lifestyle and Environment, Power sector, Tourism and Industrial Development. Noteworthy contributors are Sudhir Chandra Nautiyal, Sanjeev Chopra, Shailesh Upreti from the US, Anil Bahuguna, Kusum Arunachalam, Prof Eklabya Sharma from Nepal, Dr AP Dimri, Kalachandra Sen, Dr Mamgain and Prof HC Purohit of Doon University.
