Dehradun, 22 Jan: The registration process for the Bharatiya Bauddhiks National Examination–2026, organised by Vidya Bharati Higher Education Institute, has been successfully completed. In Uttarakhand, more than 12,000 students from over 100 educational institutions have registered, marking a record level of participation in the state for this examination based on the Indian Knowledge Tradition.
This national examination is being conducted under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Jagmohan Singh Rana, Provincial President of Vidya Bharati Higher Education Institute, with the support of Prof (Dr) Anand Singh Uniyal, Joint Director, Directorate of Higher Education.
Providing details, Dr Rajkumari Bhandari Chauhan, Provincial Secretary of Vidya Bharati Higher Education Institute, stated that enthusiastic participation has been witnessed among students from universities and colleges across various districts. Notably, Devbhoomi Uttarakhand University has emerged as the largest examination centre in the entire country for the Bharatiya Bauddhiks 2026 examination. As a result, the examination will be conducted at more than 100 centres across Uttarakhand, where 12,000 students will appear for the exam from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Dr Chauhan emphasised that this examination is a strong initiative to connect the Indian Knowledge Tradition with modern education. The significant participation from Uttarakhand reflects students’ cultural awareness and their commitment to addressing contemporary challenges. The examination pattern focuses on logical ability, analytical thinking, subject comprehension, and the Indian Knowledge Tradition. Through multiple-choice questions, students’ understanding of science, social sciences, and arts will be assessed.
For the successful conduct of this national examination, the Uttarakhand Provincial team of Vidya Bharati Higher Education Institute—including Provincial Vice President Dr Rakhi Panchola, Joint Secretary Dr Gaurav Varshney, Joint Secretary Dr Manoj Shrivastava, Treasurer Anil Tomar, Dr Vaibhav Saraswat, Nishant Thapliyal, along with vice-chancellors, principals, and nodal officers of educational institutions across the state—are providing active cooperation.
