Panjim, 26 Nov: Actor and Producer Aarushi Nishank was invited to the International Film Festival of India in its 55th edition in Goa this year. She went there as a panelist to discuss the critical issues of social media in the industry.
Aarushi Nishank is an actor, producer, and social environmentalist. She recently produced the hit Hotstar web series, “Life Hill Gayi”, which topped Ormax’s viewership ratings in India for three weeks. Nishank will soon be appearing alongside prominent Bollywood actors on the big screen.
This year’s IFFI featured various panels addressing topics such as gender representation, co-productions, and inclusivity in cinema. Nishank’s involvement highlights her active role in fostering meaningful conversations about social media impact on films and its promotions.
Nishank shared the panel with writer actor Dhrub Sehgal, actor Mira Chopra, owner of Chalchitra Talkies Vaibhav Munjal, journalist Pooja Talwar and Festival Director, IFFI, Prithul Kumar.
She stated that social media has its pros and cons but users have to share or consume information responsibly. She added that the film industry right now is optimising the utility for promotion of talent and content, which is hugely helping garner eyeballs and is a plus for so long as it is used for betterment and positively.
Nishank has always been known to express her views unabashedly on topics. She shared her views to help better the quality of consumption and also for the newsmakers to learn a tip or two from it all.
