Mussoorie, 1 Oct: Film, television and theatre actor and screenwriter KK Raina, and actress, TV personality and Rajasthani folk singer Ila Arun arrived here, today, on a personal visit.
They met the State President of the Uttarakhand Hotel and Restaurant Association, Sandeep Sahni. On this occasion, both KK Raina and Ila Arun enjoyed the beautiful views of Mall Road. They took photos with their fans and also gave autographs. They also learned about the history of Mussoorie’s Picture Palace. They hoped that the British period hall would be revived.
While talking to journalists, Ila Arun said that Mussoorie is a very beautiful place, where clouds even come inside the hotels. Its views are different and give a lot of peace. She also enjoyed the Uttarakhand thali consisting of dishes prepared from various products found in Uttarakhand.
She said that she likes the culture of Uttarakhand very much. She reported that she had come to Uttarakhand to participate in a film festival.
She said that she had talked to the ministers of Uttarakhand and the policy being made for the film industry by the state’s Pushkar Singh Dhami is very good. There is immense possibility of shooting films in Uttarakhand. If a film is made in Uttarakhand, then the youth will get direct benefit in the form of employment. She would definitely explore Uttarakhand in the coming days.
