Dehradun, 2 Oct: Forest, Language, Election, Technical Education Minister Subodh Uniyal released at his official residence here, today, the poster of the “Uttarakhand Innovation Festival-2024” proposed to be organised in December.
On this occasion, Uniyal observed that this event will be jointly organised by several institutions like MSME, ITDA, Skills Development Society and Swami Ram Himalayan University under the banner of the Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board.
Uniyal also shared that this two-day event will be held on 13 and 14 December at Swami Ram Himalayan University. The Minister also claimed that this event will benefit the youth of the state in developing their professional skills and will also inspire children to mull on how they can move forward in their lives. He said that the way and at the pace new technologies are being developed at present has ensured a huge convenience in the lives of the people. Technology is very important in the present era, and it holds huge potential and possibilities for the future.
Uniyal revealed that many innovators will participate in this event, and the deserving among them will be selected and honoured. He also called upon the children to focus as much as possible on their skill development while developing their progressive ideas. He also shared that under technical education, the government is going to also teach French, German and Spanish languages in engineering colleges so that the students can get an opportunity to go abroad.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor of Swami Ram Himalayan University, Dr Rajendra Dobhal shared his views on organising the Uttarakhand Innovation Festival. He also spoke at length on how this two-day event can prove beneficial for the youth.
On this occasion, Member Secretary, Pollution Control Board, Dr Parag Dhakate was also present.
