Dehradun, 1 Oct: Mukesh Thapliyal, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister, was given a warm farewell by the Chief Minister and the officials of the Chief Minister’s Office here. Thapliyal superannuated after serving the state government for 39 years, yesterday. He has served in undivided UP as well as in Uttarakhand.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated Thapliyal on reaching the age of superannuation and wished him a healthy and happy life ahead. The CM noted that Mukesh Thapliyal was a dedicated and sociable officer and that he has performed his duties with honesty and full capability, all these years. The officials and employees of the Chief Minister’s Office and Secretariat also praised the working style of Thapliyal.
Sharing his experiences during his service period, Thapliyal said that during his 39 years of service, he had the opportunity to serve in both Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. He noted that he always received support from colleagues and senior officers throughout his tenure. He also expressed gratitude to the personnel who worked with him during his service period for their constant support.
