AI & Digital Innovation in focus – Major Summit to be held in Doon today

Dehradun, 15 Apr: With the aim of promoting digital innovation, cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Uttarakhand, the 5th India Digital Empowerment Summit & Awards – Uttarakhand Chapter will be held on 16 April in Dehradun. The event is being hosted by the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA), Government of Uttarakhand, in collaboration with APAC Media.

The event will take place at Hyatt Centric, Rajpur Road, Dehradun, starting from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. It will witness participation from IT experts, industry leaders, start-ups, academicians, and policymakers from across the state and the country. The primary objective of the summit is to empower Uttarakhand digitally in line with the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047”.

The Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, will be the Chief Guest, while Pradeep Batra will attend as the Guest of Honour.

During the summit, experts will deliberate on key topics such as digital innovation, cybersecurity, e-governance, and emerging technologies. Additionally, individuals and organisations demonstrating excellence in various domains will be felicitated.

The programme mentor is Nitesh Kumar Jha (Secretary, Information & Science Technology Department), and the programme chair is Alok Kumar Pandey (Additional Secretary, IT Department & Director, ITDA), under whose guidance the event is being organised.

According to the organisers, this summit will play a significant role in accelerating digital transformation in Uttarakhand and strengthening the state’s technological ecosystem.
