Dehradun, 11 Mar: BJP’s Chief Spokesperson, Suresh Joshi today strongly condemned a viral video posted by certain miscreants, showing an effigy of BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt being blown up using explosives. In a message issued today, Joshi reminded that certain miscreants have also posted the same video on their social media accounts like Facebook, etc.
Joshi reminded that such incidents do not bode well for a peaceful state like Uttarakhand where political differences and differences of opinion are also peacefully expressed.
The BJP spokesman asserted that such elements are deliberately trying to incite the people and create an atmosphere of animosity and incite violence and demanded that the government take immediate action against such miscreants and arrest them in accordance with the law.
It may be recalled that since yesterday, a video is viral on the social media in which, some youth allegedly associated with the Berozgar Sangh, which is led by Bobby Panwar are seen blowing up the effigy of BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt using explosives or firecrackers. They are also seen calling Bhatt a firecracker and raising slogans against him and the BJP over an alleged statement attributed to Bhatt.
