BJP to launch Seva Pakhwara on Modi’s B’day on 17 Sept: Manveer Chauhan

Dehradun, 14 Sep: BJP will launch Seva Pakhwara on the occasion of birthdays of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. During the Seva Pakhwara, various programmes like seminars, exhibitions, health camps, blood donation camps, marathon races etc will be organised in a comprehensive format. For this, a state level committee has been formed.

BJP’s State Media In-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan shared that under the instructions of the central leadership and the leadership of State President Mahendra Bhatt, the party will conduct all the programmes of Seva Pakhwara from 17 September to 2 October. On the instructions of the State President, a state committee has been formed for Seva Pakhwara and for this, the party’s State General Secretary Khilendra Chaudhary has been nominated as convener. In addition, Deepak Mehra, Suresh Gadiya, Kisan Morcha Convenor Joginder Pundir and Manoj Garg have been nominated as members.

Chauhan reminded that a nationwide campaign is being launched on 17 September on the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  He also reminded that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has his birthday on 16 September. Hence the campaign in Uttarakhand will be launched on 17 September itself. He claimed that under the leadership of PM Modi and CM Dhami, many notable works are being carried out for the uplift of the poor, exploited and deprived sections of the society with the motto of ‘Seva Paramo Dharma’.

Chauhan said that many activities will be held along with the programmes of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Jayanti and Gandhi Jayanti during the Sewa Pakhwara (Fortnight). To begin with, on 16 September, marathon races, sanitation drives and service work, fruit distribution etc. will be organised in the mandals under the districts praying for his longevity.

Blood donation camps will be organised in all the districts on 17 September in coordination with various social organisations, blood banks, Indian Red Cross Society and district health departments. Swachhata Abhiyan will be conducted in schools and hospitals from 18 September to 24 September. Under which, along with painting of school and hospital premises, essential items and equipment will also be given to schools and hospitals. Felicitation programmes will also be organised in the district headquarters to encourage the players for their best performance so far in Paris Paralympics-2024.

On the day of launch of ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’ on 23 September, free health camps will be organised for women above 60 years of age in each assembly constituency. MPs, MLAs, other public representatives and presidents of various boards and corporations will play a leading role in organising these health camps. A pictorial exhibition of the personality and achievements of the Prime Minister will also be held for 15 days at the District BJP office and various places. Along with this, art and drawing competitions, rangoli competitions, speech and essay competitions, sand-art competitions, graphic design competitions and quiz competitions based on the themes of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vikasit Bharat 2047 and ‘Go Vocal for Local’ will also be organised by various units of the party. At the same time, a massive tree plantation campaign and “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign will be run on a large scale from 17 September to 2 October.

On 25 September on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Jayanti, his life and contribution will be remembered with a Pushpanjali programme. On Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October, a sanitation campaign will be conducted around the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and floral tributes will be offered.
