Dehradun, 14 Sept: Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) listened to various grievances from individuals at Raj Bhawan and assured them of appropriate resolutions on Saturday. Regular public meetings are organized at Raj Bhavan to address and resolve issues faced by ex-servicemen, their dependents, and other residents.
During today’s session, grievances were presented by seven individuals from remote districts such as Uttarkashi, Almora, and Pauri. The issues raised included land fraud, employment assistance, village development projects, financial aid, and other concerns. The Governor listened to all the complaints seriously and assured appropriate action.
The Governor stated that all issues would be resolved promptly according to the regulations. He directed the grievance redressal officer to forward the problems to the respective district magistrates and officials immediately for swift resolution. The Governor assured that all complaints would be addressed within a specified timeframe.
