Cabinet expansion to boost development and welfare in U’khand: Mahendra Bhatt

Dehradun, 20 Mar: BJP in Uttarakhand has welcomed the cabinet expansion. The party has described the development as a move which will push and further boost development and public welfare in the state. State party president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt has extended best wishes to all new ministers and expressed gratitude on behalf of all party workers to Chief Minister Dhami and the central leadership. Other senior BJP leaders including Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal and Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta have also welcomed the cabinet expansion in Uttarakhand.
In his reaction to the media, Mahendra Bhatt claimed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the BJP government is rapidly advancing the state on the path of all-round development and public welfare. He admitted that for the past few years, some positions in the cabinet had remained vacant, but today they have been filled with the consent of the central leadership. He extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to Khajan Das, Bharat Chaudhary, Madan Kaushik, Pradeep Batra, and Ram Singh Kaid, who have been given cabinet responsibilities today. He expressed confidence that all of them will further strengthen the resolve for the state’s all-round development, good governance, and public welfare under the guidance of the Chief Minister.
On behalf of all workers and the people of the state, Bhatt also expressed thanks to Chief Minister Dhami and the central leadership for the cabinet expansion. He also described the new composition of the cabinet as aligned with regional and social balance, which will prove capable of accelerating development and welfare works in the state. He stated that with the completion of the cabinet, efforts must now be made to advance development and public welfare works at quadruple speed in this final year. The induction of new ministers will make the government more effective in public interest works and resolving people’s problems. Bhatt added that that since elections are due in one year, the party will certainly benefit from the cabinet expansion it in the elections. There is hope that the increased fulfilment of public sentiments will surely translate into record public support for the party.
At the same time, Ajay Bhatt stated that entrusting the responsibility of ministerial positions to energetic, hardworking and dedicated legislators is a commendable step by the government. He expressed confidence that the new ministers will work with full commitment, accelerate the pace of development in the state, and prioritise public welfare initiatives.
Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal stated that the successful Chief Minister of the state, under the guidance of the central leadership, has appointed ministers to the five vacant posts, which is a welcome step.
