Rudraprayag, 17 Nov: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today carried out door-to-door campaigning for the Kedarnath Assembly by-election in the final phase, visiting Saterakhal village in Agastyamuni, Jagoth village, Pali Thapanj village in Ukhimath, and Durust village in Guptkashi. During his campaign, Minister Joshi appealed to the public to vote for BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal.

In his address during the campaign, Minister Ganesh Joshi highlighted the close connection between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kedarnath. He stated that due to the Prime Minister’s guidance and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Kedarnath has seen unprecedented development in recent years, benefiting local people by creating new employment and self-employment opportunities. He also pointed out that the BJP’s double-engine government has implemented various schemes for women’s empowerment, which has consistently earned the party support from women voters.

Minister Joshi further emphasised that the development work carried out by the BJP government, including the recent Rs 10 crore aid for disaster victims, and the clean image and soft-spoken nature of BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal, would ensure the party’s success in the by-election. He expressed confidence that the BJP would win the election by a landslide.

Joshi also targeted the Congress, saying, “If a legislator couldn’t even utilise their MLA fund during their tenure, what can they do in just two years? This is the question people are asking.” He reiterated that the people of Kedarnath are fully prepared to support the BJP in recognition of the developmental work done by the double-engine government.

Minister Joshi concluded by urging the people to participate in the democratic process and vote in large numbers in the upcoming election on 20th November.

Also present during the campaign were Mandal Convenor Gajendra Singh, Pali Village Pradhan Premlata, Uma Devi, Block Panchayat Member Brijesh Pant, Vandana Devi, Pinki Devi, Sachendra Negi, Mahipal Negi, former Pradhan Pushpa Semwal, and others, along with hundreds of local women.
