Dehradun, 24 May: Doon Global School students performed brilliantly in the CBSE Board Examinations 2022-23. To acknowledge these students, a special Felicitation Ceremony was held today at the school amphitheatre.
Ranber Singh, Regional Officer- CBSE, Dehradun, presided over the function as Chief Guest. The dgathering included Lakshay Singhal, Director Skill-Ed Globizens School, Saharanpur, Ankit Agarwal, Chairman, Doon Global School, Mitali Agarwal, Director Skill-Ed, Balliwala Chowk, Christopher Hanvey, School Director, Doon Global School, and Seema Hanvey, Principal, Doon Global School.
This felicitation was special because the batches of Grades 10 & 12 were the Silver Jubilee batches, with DGS having shaped futures for 25 years.
While congratulating the Staff and Students of the school for a stellar performance among schools of Pachhwadoon, Ranber Singh said that, for education to be purposeful, students must love their community and country, be rooted in their culture, have respect for their Teachers and Parents and, lastly, not get distracted by the external world. He spoke to each and every Awardee, and had special words of encouragement and wisdom for each.
The teachers of these batches were also felicitated for their hard work and commitment.
