Chief Minister honours medal winners of 36th National Athletics Games

DEHRADUN, 12 Oct: Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, today honoured athletes and their coaches who had been awarded medals in the athletics competition of the 36th National Games held in Gujarat. At a function held at the CM’s camp office here today, the Chief Minister said that in the 36th National Games held in Gujarat, all the players of the state have brought laurels to the state by their excellent performance. He wished the medal winning players a bright future ahead. He further said that along with the new sports policy, several welfare steps have been taken to promote games in the state in the larger interest of sports and sportspersons. On this occasion, President of Uttarakhand Athletics and Senior Vice President of Uttaranchal Olympic Association, Sandeep Sharma, Secretary, Uttarakhand Athletics, KJS Kalsi, Treasurer MC Shah, Silver Medallist Suraj Singh Panwar, Silver Medallist Mansi Negi, Bronze Medallist Reshma Patel, and her coach and Devbhoomi Dronacharya Awardee Anoop Bisht and Athletics Coach at the Sports College Lokesh Kumar were present.
