Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital Chairman calls on Gov

Dehradun, 12 Oct: Dr C Srinivas, Chairman, Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, called on Governor Lt-General Gurmit Singh (Retd), here, today.

Providing information about the Trust to the Governor, he said that the hospitals run by it are playing an important role in the treatment of children in 17 states of the country. The trust has provided free heart disease treatment to more than 2 lakh children. He added that the trust is soon going to start a Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Maternal and Child Hospital in Uttarakhand also. The hospital will have free facilities for the treatment of mothers and children.

Lt-General Singh said that the selfless service with which Sathya Sai Hospital is providing health facilities to the people is commendable. He appreciated that since all the services in the hospital are free, the poor people would benefit. It is a matter of good fortune for Uttarakhand that Sri Sathya Sai Trust has decided to contribute its health services.
