Dehradun, 26 Aug: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami heard the problems of a large number of people who had come to the Chief Minister’s residence here today for a Janata Milan. People from different areas of the state apprised the Chief Minister about issues and problems related to health, roads, unemployment, land disputes and other problems. The Chief Minister said that people’s problems will be resolved soon. He directed the officers to solve most of the public problems and complaints on the spot.
Chief Minister Dhami said that the District Magistrates have been instructed to hear public problems for two hours on every working day so that public problems are resolved quickly. The Chief Minister said that he himself is continuously taking feedback of various schemes being run by the government during his visits to the districts. District Magistrates have also been instructed to organise Janata Darbars, Tehsil Day and regular meetings of BDCs in the districts. He added that the objective of his government is to solve public problems quickly and effectively.
Dhami also instructed the officials of the Chief Minister’s Office that whatever letters have been received for public complaints and problems, they be forwarded to the officials concerned for their resolution. He also instructed the officers that strict action be taken against those officers and employees who are unnecessarily delaying the works of the people. The Chief Minister has also expected the people to register their complaints on the CM Helpline 1905. A system has also been made for redressal of the complaints lodged on this. On this occasion, women from different areas of the state also tied rakhi on the Chief Minister’s wrist and wished him a happy life. The Chief Minister congratulated everyone on Raksha Bandhan.
