Dehradun, 27 Jan: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off 329 motor bikes donated by Hero Moto Corp Ltd for revenue officials at a function held at the Chief Minister’s residence, here, today. These motor cycles have been donated by Hero MotoCorp under its CSR policy for use by revenue officials in the hills. These motorcycles would be given to sub-inspectors of the revenue department for disaster relief works and for cooperation in law and order, and for quick disposal of various revenue-related tasks.
Expressing gratitude to Hero MotoCorp, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the revenue sub-inspectors of the revenue department would be facilitated with these bikes towards performing their duties and for field visits in the course of their duties in the hills. The Chief Minister said that the state government is paying special attention to simplification of procedures for quick resolution of the public’s problems. Efforts are being made to provide all possible facilities to the personnel for better work.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Secretary and Commissioner, Revenue, Chandresh Yadav, CSR Head of Hero MotoCorp Bhartendu Kabi, Deputy Revenue Commissioner Mohammed Nasir and Assistant Revenue Commissioner KK Dimri were among those present.
