Dehradun, 14 Oct: Doon Buddhist Committee President Khenpo Rangdol and Advisor cum Spokesperson Kalsang Dorje paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, here, yesterday.
They extended an invitation for him to inaugurate the Buddha Statue for World Peace at Kirsali Chowk, Sahastradhara Road, dedicated to the honour and memory of the brave jawans of Galwan Valley and their family members. The Chief Minister accepted the invitation to inaugurate the statue on the auspicious full moon day of 8 November, as the Chief Guest.
