DEHRADUN, 1 Dec: A team of 43 students along with 7 staff members from Composite Regional Center for Persons with Disabilities, Lucknow visited Cheshire Home as per their schedule. The team was headed by Vikas Mishra, Dy. Course Coordinator, CRC. These students are doing their Diploma courses in MR and VI which is a two year diploma course as a special educator. After the course they get employment in Govt. institutions where they help the students who are differently abled besides sensitizing the other staff members towards such students. The team included teachers Amit Ranjan and Ravi Prakash who are visually handicapped are said to have developed a project wherein when they teach, nobody can guess that a teacher who is visually handicapped is teaching the class. They also prepared a documentary. It was a unique experience for them.
