Olympus High holds Junior Debate Competition

DEHRADUN, 1 Dec: The Junior section of Olympus High organised an English Debate Competition within their school premises today.
The competition was won by Udit Kamboj from class IV and Ahana Malla from class V.
The competition was  judged by Nilima and Geetanjali.
A total of 6 students from each class participated; 3 for the motion and 3 against the motion. The topic for class IV was ‘Should physical education be compulsory in school?’ Whereas the the topic for class V was ‘Do violent video games trigger violent behaviour in kids?’.
Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director Kunal Shamshere Malla said, “All the students presented their views with full confidence and grace. The debate was well organised and well presented. Such competitions help children to develop confidence and improvise on their public speaking skills.”
Present on the occasion were the Managing Director Kunal Shamshere Malla and Principal Anuradha Malla.
