Mussoorie, 16 Nov: A dance competition was organised by the ‘Rashtriya Shah Shakti Sangathan’ and ‘Matri Shakti Sangathan’ here, today, in which girls in junior and senior categories participated and displayed their skills.
President of Matri Shakti, Smriti Sarin Hari said that the organisation works to improve skills by providing opportunities to students and youth through various schemes so that their skills can be enhanced. The effort is to link them with self-employment. She said that, looking at the talent of the children, it was clearly visible that, along with the parents, the teachers had also worked hard to shape their future.
State Vice President of Rashtriya Shah Sangathan, Tanmeet Singh said they actively participate in social work and, with the help of Matri Shakti, activities like the dance competition were held among the students. He said that a campaign on improving health and combating unemployment is being run across the entire state. With regard to unemployment, awareness camps are also organised regularly to connect the youth with self-employment opportunities.
Renu Jain, Monika Agarwal, Anand Prakash and others were present on this occasion.
