Gov orders upgrading of Raj Bhawan Dispensary

Dehradun, 16 Nov: Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) has directed setting up of a world class pathology lab in the allopathic dispensary of the Raj Bhawan, here. Along with this, the Governor has suggested use of Artificial Intelligence Applications in the dispensary. As per his instructions, it will soon be converted into an e-dispensary. Information about all patients, treatment, tests, medicines, etc., will be available digitally. Information, reports and facilities will be available to the patients through Android based mobile applications. With the establishment of the Pathology Lab, all the officers, personnel and their family members, relatives, and others in need in times of crisis will be provided facilities for all necessary tests including blood test, sugar test, TB test, stool test, Covid test, etc.
The Governor has given instructions for infrastructure development at the Raj Bhawan dispensary with a capacity of about 800 patients, so that a large number of patients can be provided treatment during emergency. This is to be done in a time bound period.
These instructions were issued after the Governor inspected the dispensary on Tuesday. Medical Officer Dr Mahavir Singh, Senior physician Dr Arun Kumar Singh, Pharmacist Jagdish Devradi and other officers were present on the occasion.
