DESL Executive reviews activities

DEHRADUN, 24 Dec: A meeting of the Dehradun Ex-Services League was held on 22 December at its office, here. A large number of heads and members of ‘shakhas’ were present. The meeting was presided over by Col US Thakur, President, and Patron Brig KG Behl (Retd) was in the chair. The President briefed all about the activities planned for 14 January, 2019, Veterans’ Day, at the Sub-Area. On Republic Day, flag hoisting would be done at the office.
Col Bhupendra Singh Sahi (Retd), Treasurer, collected a list of members above 80 and Veer Narees from each shakha. All shakhas were asked to celebrate their own raising days.
Prominent amongst those who spoke were Major Rawat, H/Capt Ashok Limbu, Vice-President, H/Capt Yudhveer Singh, H/Capt Neel Thapa and others.
