The CM asserted that tampering with public health would not be tolerated under any circumstances and instructed the District Magistrates, the police authorities, and the Health department to jointly conduct an intensive campaign to completely eradicate the manufacture and sale of fake drugs across the state.
Dhami emphasised that the strictest possible action must be taken against those involved in the illicit trade, and their entire network should be dismantled without delay. He reiterated that the government’s foremost priority is to address the concerns of families affected by the Dharali disaster. He also directed that comprehensive arrangements be made for their rehabilitation, relief, and sustainable livelihood. The committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Revenue Secretary has been asked to submit its report at the earliest. Based on the findings of this report, extensive rehabilitation and relief measures will be extended to other disaster-affected regions of the state as well.
