Dehradun, 27 Mar: The BJP has expressed happiness at Chief Minister Dhami being made a star campaigner of the party in several states including UP, MP, Rajasthan.
State spokesperson Suresh Joshi said that due to the historic and bold decisions taken by the Dhami Government, the increasing popularity of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami across the country is a matter of pride for every resident of Uttarakhand.
While talking to the media at the Party State Media Centre, Joshi sought to remind that the kind of strong will power, foresight, alertness and sensitivity that Pushkar Dhami has shown in his second term of two years, is being appreciated by the entire country along with Uttarakhand. Under the guidance of PM Modi, he has ensured all-round development of the state and also worked to fulfil all the resolutions made to the public. Joshi claimed that Dhami is a very accessible, polite and humble Chief Minister who remains in touch with every worker and the people of Devbhoomi. The way he recently interacted with 20 lakh women through Nari Shakti Bandhan programmes shows the blessings he is receiving from women. Similarly, he came up with a strict anti-copying law, which was praised across the country and is being adopted in the Centre and states. By becoming the first state to implement UCC, he has also emerged as a brand ambassador for establishing the nationalist culture. There are many such decisions including conversion law, action against illegal religious encroachments, 30 percent reservation in services to mother power, anti-riot law etc. which are becoming examples for other states.
He said that the way Chief Minister Dhami is taking Uttarakhand forward on the policy of cultural nationalism and development, his popularity is huge within the state and in the country at large. This is the reason why his programmes have been demanded in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, MP, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir. In view of this, the central leadership has made him the star campaigner of the party in many states. His growing fame is a matter of happiness and honour for all the Uttarakhand residents and in particular for the Uttarakhand BJP.
