Dehradun, 16 Jan: The BJP leadership has nominated Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami as a star campaigner for the assembly elections in Delhi. Reacting to this development, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt described Dhami’s nomination as a star campaigner in the Delhi elections as crucial for a significant victory.

In a statement issued today, Bhatt reminded that Delhi is home to more than 25 lakh Uttarakhandi origin voters and claimed that Dhami’s participation in the BJP’s election campaign in Delhi would unite all of the Uttarakhandis to vote in favour of BJP.

Bhatt claimed that Dhami’s role as a star campaigner has created an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the state’s migrants living in Delhi, as well as the workers. Expressing happiness, he said that along with Dhami, the development, prosperity, and historical work of Uttarakhand will also become a topic of discussion in the assembly elections. This will help increase the confidence of the BJP governments among the people of Delhi.

Bhatt claimed that it is a matter of pride for all that Dhami has become a leader not only of Uttarakhand but of the entire country. The historic and bold decisions taken by him in Uttarakhand have become examples in various states. This is why, even before this, in the Lok Sabha elections, the party had given him the responsibility of campaigning in more than 60 places across the country. The results were favourable for the BJP in all these places, Bhatt claimed further.

Bhatt stated that in the Delhi elections, the migrant Uttarakhandi population will fully support the BJP. A large population of Uttarakhand resides in Delhi, and in terms of the number of voters, it exceeds 25 lakhs. In such a situation, Dhami’s visit will create a tremendous atmosphere in favour of the party.

Bhatt shared that after the end of the civic election campaign in Uttarakhand on 21 January, Chief Minister Dhami will join the Delhi campaign on the instructions of the central leadership. He will participate in events such as public meetings, public relations, and road shows.
