Nainital, 26 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today visited the Gurudwara at Mallital in Nainital to offer prayers and pay homage to the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh and his four Sahibzadas, namely Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas. The CM on this occasion, described the supreme sacrifice by the four Sahibzadas an unparalleled chapter of courage, piety and renunciation, not only in Indian history but in the history of the entire world.
Dhami observed that that the announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to observe Veer Bal Diwas in honour of the Sahibzadas is a true tribute to their supreme sacrifice and that it will play a pivotal role in keeping alive the sagas of their bravery, valour, and prowess for generations to come.
Dhami emphasised that the Sahibzadas displayed extraordinary courage at a tender age, making the ultimate sacrifice for the protection of religion, truth, and justice. The CM said their martyrdom continues to inspire courage, valour, and patriotism among the younger generation and strengthens society’s resolve to remain vigilant and dedicated to its duties.
