Dehradun, 9 May: The 2nd Dehradun District Squash Tournament started today at Vantage Hall Girls Residential School, here. Dr Arvindanabha Shukla, President, Dehradun District Squash Association, inaugurated the tournament. The tournament will be held in boys and girls Under 14, 17 and open categories.
Organising Secretary Ramesh Bhardwaj said that a total of 8 teams of boys and 11 teams in girls’ category from The Doon School, Welham Boys’ School, The Vantage Hall Girls’ Residential School, Unison World School, RIMC, Ecole Global Girls’ International School and The Doon Club squash teams are taking part in the tournament. The tournament will be played from 9 to 12 May, according to Piyush Malaviya, Director, Public Affairs, The Doon School.
