DEHRADUN, 13 Dec: District Magistrate C Ravishankar inspected the Doon Shelter Home near the GPO, and the ‘Raien Basera’ at the Choona Bhatta area, here, today. The DM praised the cleanliness maintained at the shelter home, as well as the facilities provided. He obtained feedback from those using the facilities at the home. At the Raien Basera, however, he found broken doors and windows, leaks in the water tank, as well as lack of electricity in the toilets and bathrooms. He ordered immediate repairs, and also instructed the authorities to write clearly the name of the institution on the board outside. Present with him at the inspection were ADM Vir Singh Budhiyal and local police personnel.
