During the inspection, the District Magistrate, expressing displeasure, gave strict instructions to the manager of the contractual firm, RAMKY, to improve the arrangements. Along with this, she also issued a warning to the RAMKY officials that strict action as per the prescribed provisions would be taken against the company in case the paint, repair and construction works inside the premises are not started at the earliest. Instructions were also given to improve the sanitation system.
The District Magistrate directed that the road inside the ISBT be repaired at the earliest and instructed the maintenance company to start the cleaning job, paint and repair work at the ISBT premises within two days. Expressing displeasure over the disorganised dustbins and litter spread around the ISBT campus, she directed the officials of RAMKY to ensure garbage collection in coordination with the Municipal Corporation for waste disposal.
