Dehradun, 31 Dec: The Vice-Chancellor of Doon University, Prof Surekha Dangwal, officially launched the magazine, ‘Sai Srijan Patrika’, here, today. On this occasion, Prof Dangwal remarked, “Literature and creativity play a pivotal role in shaping the thoughts of society. Sai Srijan Patrika is not only a medium for literary expression but also an effort to preserve the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. This magazine will sow seeds of new ideas in the minds of readers and broaden their perspectives.”
She emphasised that this magazine has established a new direction in the fields of literature and culture. She expressed confidence that Sai Srijan Patrika, with its creativity and diverse content, will carve a unique identity among readers.
The magazine’s editor, Prof (Dr) KL Talwar, highlighted that this achievement was made possible through the support and dedication of contributing writers, discerning readers, and the editorial team. He stated, “When creation and innovation come together, they herald the beginning of a new era.” The journey, which started four months ago as a newsletter, has now culminated in a full-fledged magazine. This magazine not only provides a platform for the art of writing but also prominently showcases Uttarakhand’s cultural heritage, traditions, environmental conservation, and religious tourism.
During the launch event, the editorial team pledged to make this initiative a continuous effort to maintain its quality and standards. The event was attended by the magazine’s deputy editor, Ankit Tiwari, among others.
