Dehradun, 27 Jun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a review meeting in respect of the CM Helpline through virtual medium from Uttarakhand Sadan in New Delhi today. He directed the officials that all the complaints received on CM Helpline should be resolved in a timely manner. He stressed that all pending complaints should be resolved positively in the next 15 days. The departments concerned should seek clarification at the earliest from those officers who have not logged in to the CM Helpline portal during the past one month. He added that, in case, satisfactory reasons are not provided by the officers on the clarifications submitted by them, then action should be taken against them.
Dhami also warned that, in future, no such laxity towards the work of the departments would be tolerated and that the accountability of the Secretary of the department concerned and the Head of the Department would also be fixed. All the officers from the block level officer to the departmental secretary should themselves regularly communicate with the complainants for the resolution of public grievances. He said that work should be done with a sense of harmony through dialogue and with a positive framework of mind. The CM also directed all the District Magistrates to prepare a roster for the Block Development Council (BDC) meetings to be held in each block in their respective districts. He insisted that that, during these meetings, 100 percent attendance of departmental officers and officers of line departments must be ensured.
The CM added that, in BDC meetings, a roster of duty of district level officers should also be prepared and they be asked to attend these meetings. The District Magistrates (DMs) and Chief Development Officers (CDOs) should also try to be present at every BDC meeting.
