Ecole Globale students participate in Hanover International Shooting Competition

Dehradun, 16 May: The shooting team of Ecole Globale International Girls’ School participated in the International Shooting Competition at Hanover (Germany) held from 3 to 12 May. In the air rifle junior women category, Ecole Globale student Devanshi Agarwal scored 612.8 points securing 34th position, while Kirpapreet Kaur scored 610.5 points, securing 44th position. Another student Rishita Thakur scored 579.8 points securing 87th position in the category.
In the Air Pistol Junior Women category, student Tusitta Rai scored 517 points securing 46th position. A total of 38 countries participated in the International Shooting Competition, Hanover.
According to Amarjeet Singh Juneja, President, EGIGS, “We are happy that our students are performing in international level events and giving their best in their sports disciplines. We hope, one day, these players will win trophies at the world level.
