Dehradun, 27 Dec: The Joint Chief Electoral Officer of Uttarakhand, Pratap Singh Shah, has stated that the final publication of the electoral rolls will be one by 22 January, 2024. He added that the special short revision programme is underway currently on the basis of qualifying date of 1 January, 2024, under the directions of the Election Commission of India to ensure disposal of all the cases of DSE/PSE. Under this, a revised schedule of disposal of claims/objections and date of final publication has been issued in the state of Uttarakhand.
Shah said that according to the revised schedule, the claims and objections will be resolved by 12 January, 2024. The permission of the Election Commission will be taken for checking and final publication of the parameters by 17 January, 2024, along with this, the work of updating the database and printing of supplements will also be done on this day. The final publication of the voter list will be done on 22 January 2024.
