Five proposals sanctioned by expenditure finance committee headed by CS

DEHRADUN, 11 Dec: In the meeting of the Expenditure Finance Committee chaired by Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh held at the secretariat on Tuesday, five proposals out of nine proposals put by various departments were sanctioned. Chief Secretary instructed that four unsanctioned proposals will be brought before the next meeting of the expenditure finance committee.
Amongst the sanctioned projects, the new collectorate building to be built at a cost of Rs.691.81 lakh, 126 room hostel to be built at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University campus at Haridwar at a cost of Rs. 499.24 lakh, the construction of Haliadob Lachima-Okhrani-Nachni motor road in Gangolihat area of Pithoragargh district at a cost of Rs. 1149.42lakh, foot bridge to be built over Ganga river at Muni-ki- Reti near Kailash gate in Tehri Garhwal district at cost of Rs. 4885.60 lakh, 120 span RCC bridge at state highway no-74 at kilometer number 293 at Sirsa mode to Shakti farm on Sukhi river in Sitarganj assembly segment in US Nagar district at cost of Rs. 1027.01 lakh.
The 120 meter long Jhulka bridge at Pilang-Judav pathway near Pilang in Uttarkashi to be built by disaster management (PIU), IG Prisons headquater building in Dehradun, 120 meter long jhula bridge on Jarkul river at Piplogi in Tehri Garhwal, Hifer Rearing farm building at Rishikesh to be built by Animal Husbandry department, were again referred to be put in the next meeting of the expenditure finance committee were given to the concerned departmental secretaries and heads of department.
Additional Chief Secretary Om Parkash, Secretary R Meenakshi Sundram,Incharge Secretary Indudhar Baudai, Revenue Incharge Secretary Vinod Raturi were present in the meeting.
