Founder RK Sinha’s birthday celebration held at IPS

Dehradun, 23 Sep: The 73rd birthday celebration of Indian Public School Chairman, RK Sinha, was held on 22 September.

Present on the occasion was the Chief Guest, former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, along with Special Guests Subodh Kant Sahay, a prominent member of the Indian National Congress, Arun Saxena, an esteemed physician and politician, Dr Sushil Kumar Singh, Chairman of KP Trust, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force, Dehradun, along with other dignitaries.

The celebration commenced at 6 p.m., with the school’s Director, Dr Ranveer Singh, SIS Director AK Singh, Joint Secretary Ratna Sinha, Principal CS Tyagi, teachers, students, and the entire staff present on the occasion.

Upon his arrival at the auditorium, RK Sinha was met with thunderous applause, reflecting the deep respect and admiration held for him by the school community. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the honouring of Sinha with a Tilak and a bouquet.

The highlight of the evening was a delightful cultural program featuring Mangal Geet and captivating dance performances based on Rabindra Sangeet, presented by the talented young students of the school. These performances added a vibrant touch to the celebration, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India.

Following the cultural presentations, sweets were distributed to all guests and members of the school family present in the auditorium. Each attendee took a moment to personally wish Sinha a very happy birthday, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie.

In his address, Chairman Ravindra Kishore Sinha expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone present, acknowledging their support and contributions to the school’s journey. A Sangat Pangat event was organised. The evening concluded with a special dinner, allowing guests to further celebrate this momentous occasion together.

The Indian Public School, Rajawala, looks forward to continuing the legacy of excellence and service established by its founder, Ravindra Kishore Sinha, as it nurtures the leaders of tomorrow.
